THE ARTIST
CHARLIE KUIZINAS
Ever since I was little, I'd sign my artwork " KUZ". It was
sort of an abbreviation of my more difficult to pronounce
last name, Kuizinas ( Pronounced KUZ-EENAS ). I have
taken art classes here and there throughout my 36 years,
but for the most part I have taught myself through trial
and error, reading, and studying other artists' work.
Over the years, I have developed the style you see
today and my artwork is gaining popularity throughout
the region.
My inspiration comes from the beautiful New England
countryside and the animals that inhabit it: the moose,
the raccoons, the loons, and the bears. I imagine these
animals in human scenarios, in humorous situations
around Lake Winnipesaukee and the nearby White
Mountain National Forest.
I live in Alton Bay, New Hampshire with my girlfriend
of 10 years, Joyce. We hope you will enjoy these
paintings, as we do and continue to visit the site to
check in on my latest projects!!
